First identify the medicine

The same ingredient can exist under different products, manufacturers and dosage forms. Do not identify a medicine from packaging or translation alone.

Then return to primary sources

Prioritize PMDA, MHLW and manufacturer material and check the date of the document.

Personal use comes last

A reference page can explain a medicine, but individual indication, contraindication, dose and interactions require a clinician.
